Movie review of Day of the Dead

Day of the Dead - 2.5/10
Directed By Steve Miner
Cast - Mena Suvari,Ving Rhames

Plot Summary
When a small Colorado town is overrun by the flesh hungry dead a small group of survivors try to escape in a last ditch effort to stay alive. It's an unfortunate remake of the classic Romero's Day of the Dead.

Review
It's safe to say this is probably the worst zombie remake of all time. Day of the dead tries very hard not to be a B grade movie but sadly it is. I'm still unsure why Mena Suvari and Ving Rhames did this movie.
The kill scenes are pathetic and not even a shot of boobage. Very bad cinematography, and probably the worst zombie make up used as well. If u wanna watch a good remake of a zombie movie, I suggest you rent "Dawn of the dead" and "Night of the living dead".

Dont even bother watching this.

Movie review of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the crystal skull

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the crystal skull - 3.5/10
Directed by Steven Spielberg
written by david koepp and George Lucas
Cast - Harrison Ford, John Hurt,Cate Blanchett,Shia Lebeouf,Ray Winstone

Plot Summary
Famed archaeologist/adventurer Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones is called back into action when he becomes entangled in a Soviet plot to uncover the secret behind mysterious artifacts known as the Crystal Skulls.

Review
This is definitely the worst Indiana Jones
movie. It was boring, stupid and it ain't funny at all. Despite a good cast ,the acting fell way short. Cate Blanchett can't do fun films and I realize this after watching this fuckall movie and she has a horrible russian accent. Somehow having Russians as the bad guys feels quite boring/ I do miss the Nazis though. Harrison Ford seems like he is just doing this for the money. Shia Lebouf in my opinion, overacted. It's like as if he is sucking up to Spielberg, Lucas and Ford. A good actor like John hurt was under-used sadly.

The script was just horrible, is was just plain sad. All the jokes weren't funny especially the one with the snake(which I find it to be stupid). I didn't even manage a smile.
Of all the 4 Indy movies, this has the worst introduction ever. Just to show the audience that the timeline is in the 50's, it is totally uneccessary. Iindy 4 has the shittiest plot also. 1-3 has always dealt with the supernatural and alittle bit of history and reality no matter how warped it is. ("what the fuck" was what I muttered to myself when i found out the plot).

But in this movie, Indy goes sci-fi. It
becomes shit. What the fuck was Lucas thinking when he did this? The muthafuckers should have just change the title to HAN SOLO AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL instead. The only good thing about Indy 4 is the camerawork. Even the stunts and special effects are rubbish.

To all Indiana Jones fans,do not waste your money on watching this in a cinema even on a
weekday. It is that bad. Wait for the bloody dvd.

All I can say is FUCK YOU SPIELBERG AND LUCAS FOR FUCKING UP THE INDIANA JONES SERIES!!! I REALLY HOPE HARRISON FORD DIES OR RETIRES SOON.SO HE DOESNT HAVE TO EMBARASS HIMSELF BY DOING YET ANOTHER INDIANA JONES.

Movie review of Ironman

Ironman - 7.5/10
Directed by Jon Favreau
Cast - Robert Downey Jr,Terence Howard,Jeff Bridges,Gwyneth Paltrow

Plot Summary
When wealthy industrialist Tony Stark is forced to build an armored suit after a life-threatening incident, he ultimately decides to use its technology to fight against evil.

Review
What an enjoyable
movie! It practically has everything you want from a superhero movie. Awesome effects,
a great cast and a good script as well. Even though I have never been a fan of the comics, (in fact i hate Ironman),watching the movie was fun. Jon Favreau did a good job as an actor turned director. Even though he has done shit films recently, this is definitely his big break and I hope to see him do the sequel as well.
The casting was great. Robert Downey Jr is Tony Stark(only shorter) and he does it so effortlessly. This is RDJ first big budgeted movie and he has chosen well. I have always been a fan of RDJ, the last movie I watched from him was Kiss Kiss Bang Bang which has a fucking funny script. By the wayeven Gwyneth Paltrow did a good job as Pepper Potts. Hopefully for the sequel I would like to see Terence Howard don the Warmachine.
All in all this movie is a treat for everyone. Definitely worth watching on a weekend.Bring a friend.

Take note - Tony Stark will appear in the new HULK movie as well.

Tony Stark: Damn right I'm not. I'm an army.
Jim Rhodes: [whispering] Just stick to the cards sir.
Tony Stark: [holds up his notes and pauses, then puts them down] I'm Iron Man.

Movie review of Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay - 4/10
Directed by Jon Hurwitz,Hayden Schlossberg
Cast - Kal Penn, John Cho

Plot Summary
Follows the cross-country adventures of the pot-smoking duo as they try to outrun authorities who suspect them of being terrorists when they try to sneak a bong on board their flight to Amsterdam.

Review
Definitely not as good as the first installment. To
be honest it was alittle disappointing. I did not enjoy the sequel as much as I did on the first one. Even though I did laugh at some of the jokes but for every one good joke there, there were at least 3 horrible ones. The editing was horrible and the acting was mediocre. Even the George Bush impersonator looks so fake . But then again this is a Hollywood slapstick comedy, so you don't really need acting skills here. That much being said, it's official, Kal Penn can and should only do comedic roles. He can't do serious ones for shit cos all you want to do is laugh when he is acting.
Nothing fantastic so worth watching only on a weekday.

George W. Bush: Do you like to get hand jobs?

Kumar Patel: Well, yeah!

George W. Bush: That makes you a fuckin' hypocriticizer too!

Movie review of Forbidden Kingdom

Forbidden Kingdom - 4/10
Directed by
Cast - Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and some white kid.

Plot Summary
A discovery made by a kung fu obsessed American WHITE BOY sends him on an adventure to China, where he joins up with a band of martial arts warriors in order to free the imprisoned Monkey King.

Review
If this movie was done in chinese, it would have been brilliant but sadly it was done by a director who does kids movies. This movie has so many fuck ups especially in the acting department and the script. I'm not sure if it was intentional( tribute to the kungfu movies of the 70's) or just plain bad acting.
Everyone should know by now that Jet Li and Jackie Chan should refrain from talking in English and just let their kungfu do the talking. Whenever they start talking (in English), I wished I was watching a dvd so I could just switch on the subtitles and understand what the fuck are they saying.
To make things even more irritating, you have this fucking irritating CUNT who is known as the golden fucking sparrow who happens to be on a revenge mission and only TALKS IN A 3RD PERSON PERSPECTIVE. What the fuck right??? Someone should have seriously slapped her during the movie. I was glad she died in the end.
The only saving grace from this movie is the fight scene between Jet Li and Jackie Chan. Choreographed by Woo Ping Yuen. You can see classic fight stances from drunken master and all.
Dont waste your money watching this movie in the cinema. Just wait to rent the dvd.
